How Owl drafts your questions

Owl writes 10 buyer-voice questions tuned to your sub-vertical, ICP, and competitive position. The methodology is deliberate — here are the five rules it follows:

  • 1-2 branded, 8-9 unbranded. Branded queries always cite you (the AI was handed the answer) — useful for accuracy checks, but they inflate the visibility score if overused. The unbranded ones are the real test.
  • Buyer voice, not marketing-speak. Real prospects don't say "B2B SaaS" or "automated solutions" — they ask in plain language. Owl is blocked from that vocabulary.
  • Niche-anchored. Questions target your specific sub-vertical (e.g. earthwork bidding for civil contractors) rather than the generic parent category (construction software). Specificity is where real buyers live.
  • Funnel coverage. Each draft spans the four AI-visibility stages: discovery ("best X for Y"), comparison (against the competitors you added above — by name), consideration ("does X handle Y?"), and accuracy (does the AI describe you correctly?).
  • You own the final list. These are drafts, not commitments. Edit any question inline, delete the ones that miss, write your own — Owl just gives you a strong starting point.
